During the summer season, you’ll have endless opportunities to explore and enjoy the area’s world-famous scenery and outdoor activities. Day-Tripping Adventures: While staying at The Redwoods In Yosemite, you can discover some of the world’s most spectacular mountain and valley views. Favorite nearby sites include: Yosemite Falls – the tallest waterfall in North America at 2,425 feet. The Grizzly Giant – one of the world’s largest and oldest trees, nearly 3,000 years old. El Capitan – a world-famous granite monolith rising 3,593 feet above the valley floor. Tuolumne Meadows – the largest sub-alpine meadow in the Sierra Nevada. Glacier Point – with breathtaking views of Yosemite Valley and its waterfalls. Historic Wawona – known as “Pallahchun,” meaning a good place to stay in the native Miwok language. You can also enjoy nearby attractions such as the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad, Bass Lake, the historic town of Mariposa, and the Sierra Mono Indian Museum in North Fork. Yosemite National Park covers 748,542 acres—roughly the size of Rhode Island—with over 94% designated as wilderness. Weekly working hours: avg. 32h+ per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – June 10th until  September 30th

Conditions: 

• Intermediate to Advanced English level is required;
• Must arrive on time and start working according to DS dates;
• Housekeeper: Must have excellent comprehension, conversational English, and reading skills to follow instructions and communicate effectively. Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required. Must be mature, responsible, and professional in behavior and appearance. Only non-party participants will be accepted; alcohol and substance use on the property are not tolerated. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires stamina and attention to detail. Must not have allergies to cleaning products or any physical limitations that would prevent you from performing the required tasks/ $16.50 per hour
• Training will be provided;
• The employer will provide the t-shirt.
• Students must bring athletic style, non-skid shoes such as tennis shoes. You must also bring jeans (no holes or frays) or sturdy work pants such as khaki pants;

Housing and Transportation:

• Accommodation provided by the employer at cost of $250 per month;
• It is approx. a 10-minute walk to work.
