North Myrtle Beach is a city in South Carolina. It’s part of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of Atlantic beaches. Downtown, Main Street is lined with shops, eateries and bars. Alligator Adventure is an animal park featuring swamps with reptiles, plus live shows. By the ocean, O.D. Pavilion Amusement Park offers fairground rides and traditional snacks. Nearby McLean Park has a lake and picnic shelters.

Weekly working hours: avg. 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1ST – June 30th until  September 30th

Conditions:

• Must be able to start working according to DS start dates;
• Shop Associate: Customer service experience is required for this position. Native Joe’s is a locally and familyowned and has a very good reputation in the North Myrtle Beach area. Being a personable and outgoing person is a must for this position. You will have to handle food, coffee, and ice cream and have to clean the shop. No allergies to food or sanitizers. You will be working independently or with a team. Must have strong work ethic capable of multitasking, making orders, assisting customers, and cleaning. Native Joe’s Scoop and Grind is a well-loved ice cream parlor known for serving the finest quality ice cream and providing a delightful experience to our customers. We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Ice Cream Scoopers. If you have a passion for sweet treats, enjoy interacting with people, and are looking for a fun, fastpaced work environment, this may be the perfect job for you. As a shop associate, you are a key team member responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to customers as well as delicious desserts and acai bowls. This role requires a combination of customer service, preparation skills, and a passion for creating an exceptional shop experience. You will have to clean the shop using sanitizers, cleaners, and other cleaning products. Stocking inventory in the shop when necessary and cleanliness of the shop. This may include taking the garbage out, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning the restrooms/ $11.00 per hour + tips
• Training may take up to two weeks;
• Meals are not provided, but you receive a 30% discount;
• For personal safety and to avoid injury if you drop sharp or hot objects on your footwear, participants should purchase a closed-toed, black, slip-resistant athletic shoe.

Housing and Transportation:

• Must arrange own, leads will be given;
• Typical transportation for the area is walking or biking, public transportation is available to you as well.
