Sweet Molly’s Creamery (Broadway at the Beach) – Myrtle Beach, SC

Myrtle Beach, a city and vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60- mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands, and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, one of the country’s tallest Ferris wheels.

Weekly working hours: avg. 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – June 22nd until September 21st

Conditions:

• Advanced English;
• Must be able to start working according to DS start dates;
• Ice Cream Server: Must have a friendly disposition and have Advanced English and Comprehension. Must have good customer service skills and be comfortable interacting wth Americans. Servers are responsible for taking customer’s orders and preparing the desserts. In this position, you will be cross-trained to perform all duties including but not limited to stocking, cleaning, and serving the customers. You will be responsible for learning the menu and understanding ingredients in order to give customers good recommendations if needed/ $10.50 per hour + tips
• Ice Cream Maker: Ice Cream Makers are responsible for taking customer’s orders and preparing the desserts. In this position, you will be cross-trained to perform all duties including but not limited to: dishwashing, stocking, cleaning, following recipes, and making recipes using the machine. You will be responsible for learning the menu and understanding ingredients in order to create homemade ice cream/ $10.50 per hour + tips
• Training may take up to two weeks;
• Meals are not provided, but you do receive a 25% discount;
• The cost of the uniform is $12-$18. You get to choose a t-shirt and bandana, hat, or visor. Your uniform will be refunded after 12 weeks.al Participants should purchase a closed-toed, black, slip-resistant athletic shoe. Participants are also required to wear black pants or blue jeans free of rips or tears. 

Housing and Transportation:

• Must arrange own, leads will be given;
• Typical transportation for the area is walking or biking.
