Greens Hotels (Motel 6) – San Simeon, CA

San Simeon offers a variety of activities, tours, and sightseeing locations for visitors to enjoy during their stay at one of the most beautiful destinations along the Central Coast. Situated along either side of one of the most beautiful stretches of Highway 1, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, San Simeon is a small town with access to outdoor activities and treasured historic landmarks. Some activities include watching the elephant seals at the Piedras Blancas rookery, touring the world-famous Hearst Castle, visiting Piedras Blancas Light Station, seeing the many state parks nearby, fishing, biking, camping, bird watching, viewing tide pools up close, and hiking along beaches and pristine stretches of Pacific coastline.

Weekly working hours: avg. 32h + per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – June 6th until September 30th

Conditions: 

• Upper Intermediate to Advanced English required;
• Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, walls, and furniture. Change linens, make beds, and restock rooms with fresh towels and amenities. Vacuum carpets, clean mirrors and windows, and dust surfaces. Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms. Empty trash in guest rooms and public spaces. Inspect rooms for maintenance or repair needs and notify supervisors. Restock housekeeping supply carts and linen closets regularly. Follow all safety and cleaning procedures when using chemicals and equipment. Assist with other cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by management. Be flexible and willing to help in other departments when needed/ $17.00 per hour
• Your employer will train you in your assigned position;
• The company will provide the uniform. Please bring shoes with covered toes and non-skid soles (athletic style) and black or tan slacks. ;

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing is provided at a monthly cost of $300. Deposit $250, refundable If the unit is left clean and free from any damage, and you stay until your scheduled end date;
• Housing is at the motel where you will be working.
