Lack’s Beach Service – Myrtle Beach, SC

Weekly working hours: avg. 32h per week

Start Date/End Date:  June 1st  – June 30th until September 30th

Conditions: 

• Upper Intermediate English;
• Beach Rental Attendant: Must have intermediate to advanced English comprehension and speaking level. This is a physically demanding job, so it is pertinent that you are in good physical condition. If you have pre-existing conditions that will prevent you from doing heavy lifting or working outside, this is not the position for you. Daily professional set up and take down chairs and umbrellas on the beach, including pulling heavy carts with beach chairs and umbrellas on it. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, speak English, have high attention to details, follow state-regulated laws regarding the beach ecology. You will also interact with all customers interested in renting the beach equipment throughout the day, assisting them through the transaction of the rental and providing an overall enjoyable experience at the beach for all customers/ $13.50 + tips 
  *Tips – commission (a percentage of your total sales/rentals)
• Paid hourly training;
• T-shirt is provided by the Host Company. Please bring gym shorts, tennis shoes, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. 

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing costs $125 weekly per person. Your housing deposit ($150)  will be returned if you stay until the end of your contract and the housing is left in undamaged and in clean condition as when you arrived;
• Typical transportation for the area is walking or biking.
