Aramark is excited to welcome enthusiastic Work & Travel participants to join our Food Service Team at Citi Field and Maimonides Park. Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and eager to provide exemplary guest service in a lively, fast-paced environment. This is a part-time, event-based position, where participants work during home games for the New York Mets or Brooklyn Cyclones. Since hours are determined by the home game schedule, participants should expect fluctuating weekly hours, with no guarantee of 32 hours per week. Some weeks may have no scheduled work. This position is ideal for independent participants who can secure a second job to supplement their hours.

Weekly working hours: avg. 32h per week

Start Date/End Date:  June 23rd until September 4th

 Conditions: 

• Upper Intermediate or higher English proficiency;
• Maimonides Park – Cook – Limited Hours/Game Day Position: A Cook is responsible for preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while strictly following food safety, handling, and sanitation protocols. The Cook must safely use kitchen tools and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and broilers. Key Responsibilities: Prepare various foods according to recipes and production standards; set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment; measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients; safely and effectively use utensils, including knives; operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers; use cooking methods like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming; arrange, garnish, and portion food following guidelines; store food properly in accordance with safety policies; clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly; maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude; follow all Aramark safety and sanitation policies; perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. This role requires a commitment to food preparation standards and teamwork to support a high-quality kitchen environment/ $20.16 per hour
• Paid hourly training;
• Aramark will provide you with a chef jacket and hat;
• One free meal is provided per shift.

Housing and Transportation:

• Must arrange own, leads will be given;
• Most participants will travel to work using public transportation.
