The Dolly Llama – Myrtle Beach, SC

Well… Dolly is a real llama who lives on a beautiful farm in the South of France. She brings joy to everyone she meets and had a particularly positive impact on one of our founders. If you know your llama facts, you know that llamas are social, friendly, and outgoing animals who generally love people! Dolly, the French little llama, is all that and more! Inspired to create a unique dessert concept, the founders agreed that Dolly would be the perfect representation for their ice cream and waffle brand, bringing all that fun llama spirit into creative dessert concoctions, happy customers and great, fun vibes! And so, The Dolly Llama was created, and we’ve been lucky enough to continue to serve up endless amounts of delicious happiness, daily! Since its inception in 2017, The Dolly Llama has dominated LA’s waffle scene with its own unique take on the Bubble Waffle, in addition to Dolly Llama Shakes, Waffle Sticks, and OG liege Waffles and continues to prove that all waffles don’t need syrup.

Myrtle Beach, a city and vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, one of the country’s tallest Ferris wheels.

Weekly working hours: avg. 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – June 26th until September 30th

Conditions:

• Upper Intermediate English;
• Team Member: As a Team Member at The Dolly Llama, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving waffles and ice cream and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. You will work as a part of a team to create a memorable experience for every customer. Customer service, food preparation, cash handling, cleanliness, and organization/team collaboration/ $10.00 per hour
• Training may take up to two weeks;
• A hat and a T-shirt is provided. For personal safety and to avoid injury if you drop sharp or hot objects on your footwear, participants should purchase a closed-toed, black, slip-resistant athletic shoe, but slip resistant is not required. A clean and professional appearance is essential to ensure a positive customer service experience and food safety. Black clothing is preferred, but we don’t require you to wear black. 

Housing and Transportation:

• Must arrange own, leads will be given;
• Typical transportation for the area is walking or biking.
