Selling all top brand name shoes, Sand and Sun footwear is a family-owned shop that has been well known to the Myrtle Beach area for many years. Myrtle Beach, a city and vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, one of the country’s tallest Ferris wheels.

Weekly working hours:  avg. 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – June 25th until 30th September

• Advanced English;
• Sales Assistant – Broadway at the Beach: For this position, you must be polite, persistent, confident, and hardworking. Must be able to show good decision-making and problem-solving attributes, have good communication skills (Advanced English preferred), and have great communication skills. Must be able to stand for an extended period. As a Sales Associate, you are responsible for assisting the customers find what shoe/sandal they are looking for, answering any questions they may have about any style of shoe, and tendering cash/credit transactions. Being knowledgeable of all products in the shop will help you succeed in this position/ $13.00 per hour
• Training is required;
• Uniform – For personal safety and to avoid injury if you drop something sharp or heavy on your footwear. Adult International Participants should purchase a closed-toed, black, slip-resistant athletic shoe;

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing – Must arrange own, leads will be given; 
• Typical transportation for the area is walking or biking.
