Cantina Imperfecto – Myrtle Beach, SC

Cantina Imperfecto is the newest restaurant developed by the creators of Drift, located in the Grande Dunes area of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Cantina Imperfecto provides an elegant dining experience featuring Modern Mexican cuisine with a unique touch of Tequila and Mezcal. Cantina Imperfecto invites diners to celebrate flavorful dining with a menu that excites palates and ignites dialogues. Myrtle Beach, a city and vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands, and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, one of the country’s tallest Ferris wheels.

Weekly working hours: average 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – June 26th, until September 30th

Conditions: 

• Upper Intermediate English;
• Line Cook **Prior Kitchen Experience Required*: Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of ingredients and tools. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively with team members. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating. Ensure that dishes are plated and garnished according to presentation standards. Assist with the development and testing of new recipes and menu items. Manage multiple orders simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Handle special dietary requests and ensure guest satisfaction/  $14.00 per hour
• Training is provided by the employer at an hourly wage;
• 20% off meals;
