Company Description and Location: 

Denali National Park and Preserve surrounds Mt. McKinley (the largest mountain in North America) with over 5 million acres of wilderness. The Park is a natural home for dozens of wildlife species including Dall Sheep, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Wolf, Fox, Beaver, Moose, and Caribou. The Park is located 120 miles south of Fairbanks and 240 miles north of Anchorage on the George Parks Highway. There are very few towns or facilities between these two major cities, and therefore, the Park area is somewhat isolated. Lodges, restaurants, gift shops, gas stations, convenience stores, and various other visitor-related services can be found spread out within a few miles of the Park entrance road. But with 5,000 visitors and 1,000 employees in the Park area each day. Local activities include hiking and camping in and around the Park, wildlife viewing, flightseeing, jet boating, fishing, golfing, photography, river rafting, and the Park Service shuttle bus tours.

Weekly working hours: avg. 32h per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – 30th June until 30th September 

Conditions: 

• Advanced English level is required;
• Must arrive on time and start working according to DS dates;
• Co-Busser, Server Assistant:  This is a great entry-level position to gain restaurant experience. This is a fast-paced position, where you will earn good tips if you work hard, have a positive attitude and are a team player. You will be responsible for clearing guest tables and re-setting them. You will also be support for the wait staff. Additional tasks may be assigned by your manager. Job Requirements: Must be 21 years or older to apply. Some experience in positions involving customer service or food and beverage service is preferred. Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift. This is a multi-floor establishment and you will be required to climb stairs. ; $10.34
• Host Greeter: It is the responsibility of the host to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat them. $10.34
• Prep Cook: Must have High-Intermediate to Advanced English to read instructions & recipes. $12.00
• Employee Meal Plan available at a subsidized price. Meals are not free; 
• Paid orientation and training provided;
• The employer will provide a uniform at a cost of $20. You must bring non-slip, closed-toe & heel shoes, and black slacks. No jeans;

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing assisted by the sponsor at a cost of $91 per week, deductible from the paycheck;
• A refundable deposit of $200 is required upon arrival;
• Employer provides shuttle services;
