Port Aransas is the only established town on Mustang Island and inhabits 8 miles of the 18-mile-long barrier island. It is the premier vacation destination for beach, sun, and family fun! Our tranquil, tropical community boasts miles of natural beaches, gentle gulf breezes, and just-right weather making our island a perfect, peaceful getaway. Scattered about are several small islands that contribute to our reputation for great fishing, shelling, birding, and nature adventures. 

Weekly working hours: avg. 32h +

Start Date/End Date: June 1st 20th until September 30th

Conditions: 

• Upper-intermediate to Advanced English is required;
• Must arrive on time and start working according to DS dates;
• Cashier, Busser – Must be friendly, able to communicate well with customers, and clear and clean tables in a crowded environment. Operate cash registers, handle American currency, wait on customers; stock, and cleaning. Must be able to stand for long periods. Must have a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and like working with people;
• Dishwasher – This is a fast-paced job! You will be responsible for washing dishes; restocking the dishes, cleaning pots & pans. You will be working in the kitchen area. You will be working with hot water, using dish soap, cleaning products, and standing your entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 20 lb/10 kg. Your hands may get dry and crack from being in the water;
• Training will be provided;
• One free meal per shift;
• Your employer will provide a t-shirt. You must bring comfortable non-slip, closed-toed athletic shoes;

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing is provided by the employer for $100 per week. A housing deposit is needed upon arrival at a cost of $200;
