Company Description and Location: 

Bloomington is the fifth largest city, as of 2018 estimates, in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is located in Hennepin County on the north bank of the Minnesota River, above its confluence with the Mississippi River. Bloomington lies 10 miles south of downtown Minneapolis.

Margaritaville has everything you need to have a good time: island-inspired flavors, a fun, family-friendly dining experience, family entertainment on our patio, an indoor stage, retail space, a welcoming 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar, and the Porch of Indecision dining area that opens to the hustle and bustle inside Mall of America.

Weekly working hours: avg. 36h + per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st until September 1st – 15th

Conditions: 

• Advanced English required;
• Must be able to start working according to DS dates;
• Line Cook: Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food by following company-directed specifications / $11.00;
• Prep Cook: Ensures all materials and supplies are available. Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food that follows company-directed specifications / $11.00;
• Server: Possesses full knowledge of food and beverage products served and utilized suggestive selling techniques, takes orders, and delivers food and beverage in a timely manner./$2.83 + tips
• Busser: Maintains cleanliness around the front façade of the building, guest restrooms, floors, and surrounding work areas by keeping the area swept, mopped, and free from spills, trash, debris, etc./$4.50/hr + tips
• Host:  Handles initial and final contact with all guests; greets guests in a positive, professional, and welcoming manner and thanks them as they leave./$14.00
• The training is paid at an hourly rate. Students will be trained in several different positions. Training may take up to two weeks. Students may not receive full hours until the training period is complete;
• A t-shirt provided by the employer;

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing is provided by the sponsor at the cost of $177 per week per student; 
• A housing deposit of $100 is to be paid upon arrival and there will be a $200 non-refundable startup kit fee;
• The shuttle provided by Sonesta Simply Suites Minneapolis/Richfield will be providing transportation for students from housing to Mall of America, your worksite at no cost.;
