Junior Developer Training – Sarasota, FL

Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Host Company Description:

The host organization provides disaster and recovery management as well as civil construction services throughout the United States and abroad with wide-ranging projects in size and budget. The company has several key offices in the U.S. where training will be conducted. The training time may be split between offices in different states, which would require a trainee’s relocation.

Position Description:

• Salesforce administration and Apex coding
• Creating and supporting Python and JavaScript scripts and automations for Salesforce, ArcGIS, Survey123, and Heroku
• Use Python for automation of field reporting based on data in C# proprietary software
• Use Jira and Confluence for bugs and features recoding and tracking
• Create and support applications in Outsystems

Applicant Qualifications:

• To apply for the Internship program, you must be an undergraduate student of IT, Computer Science, or similar, OR a recent graduate starting the program within 12 months of graduation.
• To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis on construction management versus design) and have at least 1 year of professional work experience in the construction field, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years of professional experience
• Additional post-bachelor IT training (desired)
• Python and SQL experience (required)
• CSS and HTML experience (desired)
• MySQL (desired)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, varied role while remaining organized
• Personal flexibility and willingness to work extended or atypical business hours
• Exceptional analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• English: understanding of code and English reading/writing skills (upper-intermediate or higher); speaking, and listening (intermediate or higher)
