Position Description (Performance Analyst):
- Complete monthly reports that give details on investment performance
- Identify problem areas and efficiently and effectively resolve them
- Communicate with investment managers in order to improve efficiency and productivity
- Upkeep database of investment managers and custodians
- Work alongside consultant teams on various projects
Position Description (Management):
- Perform research that will aid the portfolio management team in decision-making
- Produce reports on portfolio management
- Attend meetings to give and gain insight on investment advising
- Work on various projects that will support the portfolio management team
- Calculate risk, performance, etc. on various portfolio projects to ensure quality advising
Position Description (Research):
- Conduct asset and risk allocation research
- Work on projects involving liquidity, risk allocation, performance analysis, etc.
- Attend research and investment manager meetings
- Reviewing and editing educational research presentations
- Produce reports on ongoing research
Applicant Qualifications:
- To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be full-time university students with an academic focus in business administration/finance studies OR have graduated less than 12 months from the internship begin date.
- To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold business administration/finance degrees and have at least 1 year of professional work experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years in this field
- Excellent English skills
- General understanding of investment industry and common strategies and practices
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Proficiency with Bloomberg is a plus
