Huot’s Seafood Restaurant has been owned and operated by three generations of Huot’s and has established itself as one of southern Maine’s finest seafood restaurants. After 77 years, Huot’s has perfected the art of serving fresh, affordable seafood while providing excellent service. Our restaurant overlooks Saco Bay from our beautiful Camp Ellis Beach, Maine location. Saco has lots of activities to offer. Explore the downtown area in search of museums and boutiques…or that next delicious meal. What tickles your fancy? A delectable five-course supper at the restaurant you’ve been hearing about? Or perhaps you’d rather read the paper while sipping hot coffee at one of the cafes scattered throughout the town. Take in a show at the theatre, or just walk along down the main thoroughfare, watching people wander past. Visit towns like Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach that are very close by or take a trip to Portland or Boston. 

Weekly working hours:  avg. 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 14th – 17th June until  30th September

Conditions: 

• Advanced English;
• Restaurant Worker: Participants will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in different back-of-the-house restaurant positions based on the store’s needs and the participant’s interests. Line Cooks, Food Prep, OrderTakers, Bussers, and Food Runner are the possible positions the participant will be working at. Job duties that participants can expect are food preparation, washing dishes and customer service;
• Paid hourly training;
• Employer will provide t-shirt. The first t-shirt is free and then it is $15 per shirt. Please bring blue jeans or tan shorts, also bring closed-toe nonslippery shoes.

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing assisted by employer at a cost of $125.00per week, per student. Deposit of  $500.00 will be paid to the employer upon arrival. As long as you have not damaged the property and left it the way you found it, you will receive your deposit back;
