Grill and Chill North Conway – North Conway, NH

This is a highly frequented tourist area, especially during the summer season. Tourists come from around the world for sight seeing in the White Mountains and to go shopping in tax-free New Hampshire. This particular area is close to outlet shopping, the White Mountains and the scenic village of North Conway. There is a huge variety of activities including hiking, the scenic railroad, shopping and sight-seeing available.

Weekly working hours:  avg. 32 per week

Start Date/End Date: June 1st – July 1st  until 30th September

Conditions: 

• Advanced English;
• Cashier, Ice Cream Server, Grill Cook: Must have fluent English. Students must familiarize them with American currency and customer service. This is a small mountain village. In this position, participants will work in a busy ice cream/fast food company doing a variety of duties from interacting with the customer to get a food order, preparation of burgers and other food items or ice cream, cashing out the customer. Daily set up, preparation, cleaning and breaking down of machines. Entire store cleaning daily. Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager. To thrive in this position flexibility and teamwork are essential;
• Paid hourly training;
• The employer will provide a DQ shirts, hats, and aprons. Please bring plain black pants (pants may not be jeans or spandex/leggings), black, non-skid shoes.

Housing and Transportation:

• Housing is assisted by the employer at a cost of  $130.00 weekly, per student. Deposit of  $400.00 will be paid to the employer upon arrival. Your deposit will be returned only if you stay until the end of your contract, in the same housing and the housing is left undamaged and clean condition;
• Transportation: Walk or bike.
