Company Description and Location: 

Denali National Park and Preserve surrounds Mt. McKinley (the largest mountain in North America) with over 5 million acres of wilderness. The Park is a natural home for dozens of wildlife species including Dall Sheep, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Wolf, Fox, Beaver, Moose, and Caribou.
The Park is located 120 miles south of Fairbanks and 240 miles north of Anchorage on the George Parks Highway. There are very few towns or facilities between these two major cities, and therefore, the Park area is somewhat isolated. Lodges, restaurants, gift shops, gas stations, convenience stores, and various other visitor-related services can be found spread out within a few miles of the Park entrance road. But with 5,000 visitors and 1,000 employees in the Park area each day.
Local activities include hiking and camping in and around the Park, wildlife viewing, flightseeing, jet boating, fishing, golfing, photography, river rafting, and the Park Service shuttle bus tours

Weekly working hours: avg. 32h per week

Start Date/End Date:  June 1st until September 1st – 19th

Conditions: 

• Intermediate to Advanced English level is required;
• Must arrive on time and start working according to DS dates;
• Room Attendant: Duties will include but are not limited to cleaning rooms and common areas, including bathrooms, toilets, and showers, changing linens, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and emptying trash, etc. Very physically demanding. Be prepared to stand, bend, and push a 50lb/23kg cart all day. Requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit. / $15.00;
• Dish Machine Operator: responsible for the cleaning of all kitchen and restaurant ware. Responsible for cleaning of kitchen, employee dining area, and restaurant restrooms. / $13.00;
• Paid hourly training;
• The employer will provide a shirt. Must provide black pants, black non-slip, closed-toe shoes, black belt, black socks, black undershirt if desired.;

Housing and Transportation:

• Accommodation provided by the employer at a cost of $112 per week. $200 refundable deposit required;
•  Transportation – Students can walk to work or take the shuttle service provided for employees.;
