Electrical Engineering Intern – Aliso Viejo, CA

Medical Devices Production Company near LA in the Technology and Engineering field.

Position Description:

• Assist staff with 3D printing / additive manufacturing, the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model
• Perform general maintenance on the 3D Printer and restock deposit material
• Assist staff in 3D printer operation
• Assist in organizing and creating CAD / digital models to be printed
• Operate Circuit Board Washing equipment such as Stoelting, AquaKleen
• Verify Wash Process is under J-STD-001 for cleanliness using Ionagraph
• Follow and perform setup and changeover procedures for the line equipment to prep it for subsequent operations

Applicant Qualifications:

• To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be full-time university students with an academic focus in electrical engineering studies OR have graduated less than 12 months from the internship begin date.
• To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold electrical engineering degrees and have at least 1 year of professional work experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years in this field
• Must be familiar with Circuit Board assembly and the IPC Standards for Cleanliness
• Requires working knowledge of Ion Chromatography as applicable to Circuit Board Cleanliness Testing Levels, and operates a Chromatography Lab using Metro Ohm equipment
• Possesses an understanding of SMT assembly and its relationship to the IPC-A610 Quality Standards
• Applicant must speak advanced English
