Rock Island Cafe is located in the heart of Waikiki, in the great city of Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, in beautiful Hawaii. We are steps away from the world-famous Waikiki Beach.
Weekly working hours: avg. 30+h per week
Start Date/End Date: June 1st – 20th until September 30th
Conditions:
- Advanced English level is required;
- Must arrive on time and start working according to DS dates;
- Food Runner: This position is very fast-paced! Assists servers with all food service. Ensure drinks are full and deliver any additional items to the tables as requested. Keep serving stations restocked and help keep workstations clean and sanitary/ $13.00
- Wait Staff: This position is very fast-paced! Includes taking orders, serving guests food and drinks (must be 21 years old to serve alcohol), maintaining excellent customer service throughout the meal (checking drinks, clearing plates), lifting heavy trays and full containers of dirty dishes, carrying to kitchen, stocking waitress station. /$: $7.25 plus tips
- Busser: This is a fast-paced position. Involves entry-level customer service tasks. Bussing and setting tables, assisting servers with orders. $12.00
- Dishwasher: This position requires great physical stamina. This is very physical, and hard work so you must be able to lift heavy items, bend, stoop, reach items on high shelves and be able to stand for 8 hours. /%12.00
- Line Cook: Must have Advanced English to read instructions and recipes. Must keep the area clean and sanitary while preparing food. Includes slicing, peeling, and dicing ingredients using a variety of kitchen equipment. $16.00 plus tips
- Prep Cook: Must have Advanced English to read instructions and recipes. Must keep the area clean and sanitary while preparing food. $16.00
- Training is required
- Uniform provided and It costs $18.00 for shirt.
Housing and Transportation:
- Housing is located on-site, and participants can walk.
- Hostel is a very short walk to your employer.
