The host company is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, working with wood, metal, and a variety of other materials to restore and create architectural elements in fine furniture. Due to their unparalleled expertise, they have been entrusted with historical restorations for some of the most iconic sites in the USA, including New York’s Grand Central Station and the UN General Assembly building.

Position Description:

• Assist in the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion
• Prepare and modify architectural designs, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD
• Maintain a submittals log, monitoring initial submittals, returns, resubmittals, and approvals
• Conduct site visits and assist in field measurements and data collection
• Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and management to develop design solutions
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Support the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and construction documents

Applicant Qualifications:

• To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be Architecture undergraduate/graduate students OR be recent graduates who begin the program within 12 months of the graduation date.
• To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold Architecture, degrees and have at least 1 year of professional work experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals with 5 or more years of professional experience in this field
• Applicants must speak advanced English
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of other design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and practices
• Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
